Hoffman Sloth

Starting out in the early 2000s Hoffman Sloth played their first gig at ‘Bartonka’ as part of Conrad Barr's Rubber Soul night. Hoffman sloth were made up of Vocalist - Simon Cave, Guitarist - Richie Adams, Bassist - Chris Smith and Martin Ramsay on Drums. They played many gigs and featured in a number of London showcases.  In 2005 Simon left the band and Richie became the singer. The 3-piece line up went on to record the album ‘10,000 Enemies’. Another personel change led to Jason Poole (Nacho Jase)  joining as bassist. This line-up recorded the follow up album ‘Nothing life threatening’ in 2006.

In 2007 the band called it a day and pursued other projects. Have a blast! Hoffman Sloth can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.

The Sabres

Post Hoffman Sloth Richie and Martin continued to jam regularly and write songs. A friend of Richie's was interested in joining on bass and Gaz Ward joined the line-up that became The Sabres. Gaz evetually departed and was replaced with Gareth who completed the sound. This line-up recorded ‘Excaping Extinction’. Gareth left the UK in 2012 and was replaced by Martin's brother Paul on bass. This line up went on to record the album 'Human's'. Paul left the band to pursue other projects and the band eventually went into hiatus.

Below are some videos from The Sabres, Hoffman Sloth and also a brief lockdown project ‘Crossfire Rock’ with the song ‘Enough Enough’. Enjoy!
